After a few years of hearing about Body Back, I finally decided it was time to challenge myself, and it did not disappoint. I was so happy to be held accountable in a fun and forgiving environment. Not only were the workouts awesome, but the group setting was so encouraging and welcoming. Each workout is different and every class I left saying to myself that this was my favorite one. My precious baby girl, Arabella, was born in May. It was a hard delivery which caused for me to be on the slow track to getting back into shape. I knew that my body would be different but even having that mentality, I was still shocked…even disgusted at times.
In August, I found Stroller Strides. After one class, I knew how much I needed this group. I remember calling my mom in tears because I was so happy that I found people that could relate to how I was feeling. I kept going on Saturdays and soon, Lolo told me to sign up for Body Back with Leslie. I love the Body Back class and I would take it again and again. The best part are the people in the class, including Leslie, that are there beside you to keep you motivated and to help you step up your workout. It's a safe, small group that has become a close-knit cheering section. The workouts are high intensity and challenging, but because Leslie plans each class differently, they are never boring and always fun. I look forward to coming to see what the night will be like. The meal plan becomes easy to follow and keeping track of your diet holds you accountable. I love the way I feel, I can see results and I'm proud of myself. I have loved this 8 week session! I've made new friends and been able to get my eating and exercise refocused. The best part of Body Back, however, is the focus on me as a person. Remembering to take care of myself is my biggest take away from Body Back!more
I have been waiting for Body Back to start in my area for a long time, and once we got started with the program all my expectations were met and more. This program combines mental and physical fitness improvement. I felt physically challenged and mentally relaxed. My friendship with the other girls grew stronger as our strength got stronger. I am officially Body Back addicted. Thanks FIT4MOM for giving me a choice to be a fit healthy mom. I've been apart of Leslie's Stroller Strides classes for about just a little over a month and am so happy with my decision to commit to this. Leslie inspires all her students to push a little bit harder without making them guilty or bad about their current level of fitness. She makes each class fun, full of conversation and laughter; I always leave in a better mood than when I came! I would recommend Leslie's class to any new mom to get back in shape, have fun, and meet some amazing ladies in a wonderful atmosphere!more
I did not work out through my first pregnancy, but with my second I enrolled in Fit4Baby and worked out twice a week until the week I delivered! I was BLOWN AWAY at how much easier it was to bounce back to my pre-pregnancy weight! I would highly recommend this program to all pregnant mommies. You will NOT be disappointed!more
I have been attending classes for nearly three weeks and absolutely love it! I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical thinking that I couldn't get a challenging workout in with my baby in the stroller. Leslie has definitely proven me wrong! Every class is different so it keeps you guessing and the dynamic is great being outdoors with all the different aged babies and all the fun mommies! My only regret is not joining sooner! I have been attending Fit4Baby since September and I absolutely love it!! This is my second pregnancy, and with my first pregnancy I fell into the trap of eating anything I craved (which was something bad all the time) and being a couch potato. I never worked out or did anything healthy for myself. Well, I gained 40 pounds more than I should have and had several health problems along the way during the pregnancy as well as after. A year later, a fellow friend introduced me to Stroller Strides during my summer off from teaching and I loved the environment. I met so many wonderful mommies, and my son had a blast being outside watching all of the mommies workout while he ate breakfast and then getting to play at the park after wards. It was a great summer experience, not too mention I really gained my health back. Lost a ton of weight, gained so much energy, and I was even eating very healthy. Before I got pregnant I vowed to get in shape first. Not so much. Then I vowed to exercise during my pregnancy. Not quite. Then after my pregnancy I vowed to get into better shape than before I was pregnant. Was that even possible? I had read about Stroller Strides years before I was even married and I knew it was my only hope. Where else could you work out along side your baby? Not to mention, with other moms going through the same issues you are. Stroller Strides is a wonderful way to get in shape and meet other mommies! I am finally being consistent with exercising because I know that Leslie and the girls are waiting on me at the park. Having a group of women and their kiddos meeting regularly finally gave me the accountability I needed to get back into shape. I think the best part is that you get a workout in but at at the same time your kiddos get to meet other little ones too! It is like a workout playdate.more
After leaving my full time job when my daughter turned 1 to stay at home, I was at a loss when it came to a schedule, appropriate activities or how to make "mommy friends."
As a long time proponent of group exercise, I was excited to try out stroller strides with Caroline. Of course she was head strong and wanted "OUT" of the stroller at first. However, we didn't give up and I'm do glad we didn't. The instructors were wonderful at entertaining my little one while I got back in shape. The moms were so nice and welcoming. We both began to love our new routine!
A year later, I'm now pregnant with our second and we are still going to class. A great way to keep me fit while giving my now two year old an opportunity to play with other kiddos after class.
